To maximise the effectiveness of your CPREzy kit, we have set out recommended steps for you to follow.

1. Learn about CPR – Contact Health Affairs for accredited training organisation to be taught the correct procedures and skills.

2. Practise chest compressions with your CPREzy pad regularly – Chest compression is the most difficult aspect of CPR and should be practised regularly on a low table or the floor.

3. Contact nearby friends or neighbours that can assist you to perform CPR in an emergency. Teach them how to use CPREzy by showing them the CPREzy training video or CD and practising with the CPREzy Pad.

4. In a real cardiac emergency – Phone an ambulance and then contact these people to assist you to perform CPR on the person suffering cardiac arrest. Take turns using the CPREzy chest compression pad. Alternate every 60 seconds or whenever you become tired.


    Maintaining regular chest compression at the correct force and rate can keep a person alive for many minutes, until medical help arrives.

    • Keep CPREzy in a handy place in your home. 

    • Remember to take CPREzy with you when you go away for holidays – put it in your car or caravan.

    • Check the battery in your CPREzy pad regularly. Change the battery every 12-18 months to ensure correct operation.

    • Undergo CPR refresher training every 1-2 years. It is important to maintain your knowledge and skills at performing really effective CPR in an emergency.
